I believe this is a supernatural thriller that brings to the fore the place of historical intervention in solving mysteries..I think it is also brings to the fore the place of real-world judgment. Great review!

I've sampled this book and I think, except for the pace, it's a very interesting one. I'm very curious to find out where Tori's renter went, and why the disappearance. Congratulations on becoming today's BOTD.

Oh, spooky! This sounds like a great thriller with good characters and a novel plot line! If I’m being honest, I’m easily spooked so I think this may not be the right book for me, but it sounds like a great read! Truly great review! Thank you!

I like reading mysteries because they make you to question yourself about what happened. Even this book makes me to read about what happened to Tori's renter, and why he disappeared and what does the mirror do to them. Loved the plot.

This book does sound like a page turner, at least from the review. I like mysteries, but I'm not one for supernatural thrillers though, especially those involving ghosts and haunted places. I'll pass, but thanks for sharing!

Sounds good. I wonder how mirrors could be so supernaturally dangerous. And I can't wait to find out how the ending winds up since it seems to favor people like me who don't believe in most of the supernatural.

In combination with the chilling plot, the title makes me think of the show on Netflix, The Haunting of Hill House, and I still haven't been able to sleep after watching that! This book sounds very scary; I wonder if the renter's disappearance is because of something sinister. Despite it sounding quite scary, it sounds like the author has done a compelling job developing characters and various sub-plots. Thanks for the thrilling review.

This sounds like a suspenseful novel. The mix of supernatural and mundane keeps this book interesting. I'm really intrigued to see what is going on with the mirrors.

I love old buildings and especially ones with history and possibly ghosts as well. Set in a grand old mansion, this sounds like a very atmospheric tale and a bit brooding as well. The down to earth characters sound like they balance the plot nicely. I enjoyed your comprehensive review and look forward to reading this book.

I am intrigued to read from the author's bio that the author is a true-blue ghost hunter! That would have aided her to make this story a stunner. I can't wait to be scared.
