Yes! I thought they were too complex to be honest. It distracts one from the book's beautiful plot and even narrows down the audience who could have otherwise wanted to read it. Yes, its a science fiction, but keeping it simple always wins.

I feel the author should have taken into consideration that not everyone who reads the book would be a physics student or something. While reading the book I found myself reading a paragraph like twice or more to get the just of it.

I am not a physics student, but I found the theories understandable. It was a bit complex but still felt as comprehendable.

I think that some of the topics were complex but I love to acquire new knowledge. I made sure that I read in an atmosphere that would be suitable to concentrate so I could understand what the author tried to explain.

I am an engineer, though I expected the level of physics in the book to be less cos of people that are not much acquainted to the knowledge of physics. But still it well understandable and The theories were all that were needed for the books storyline

The physics part was really complex for me. I find my mind switching off whenever Regina lapses into her physics mode.

I think that the topics made sense for the book but at the same time I have a hard time understanding physics so it wasn't very easy for me to comprehend. I appreciated how the author tried to explain it as easy as they could though.

I am familiar with the concepts of quantum physics and even with some of the experiments mentioned in the book. That combined with the fact that the author has really gone out of his way to explain complicated concepts in lay-person terms, would make it possible for a reader to understand the gist of what the author wanted to communicate. However, it is a matter of interest. If the reader is not interested in reading about the details then it could become a little boring for them. If they are interested in knowing about these experiments, then it can be quite educational too. In spite of knowing about these experiments, I fell into the former category.

As a scientist, I enjoyed the Physics topics. I think it was not complex at all. Also, the author provided sufficient explanations for non science students to understand the storyline as the physics theories were crucial for the flow of the story.

I think the physics was easy to understand and I don t have a science background. The author provided enough clarification when I stuck on a theory. I think it helped the overall purpose of the book.

This is the aspect of the book that had me feeling hesitant to read it. I don't read much science fiction and science was my weakest subject in college. I am relieved that it's not quite as complex as I had anticipated.
There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!

I wouldn't say they physics discussions were too complex. If anything, I think the author did a good job of simplifying things. He used several illustrations to explain his point and they made it simpler and easy to comprehend.

I don’t think the physics topics were too complex. The author did a good job at explaining the topics in a way that made it easy to understand. I do not have a physics background and am terrible at math so I was concerned when I started reading that these facts would work against me.

In my opinion, Robert Leet should have targeted a larger audience. Nevertheless, even the scientific readers and minds might have been distracted trying to navigate through all the physics. Even though the author may be aware of all the jargon and concepts, they should always put the readers into consideration.
