What is your overall opinion of the book? What do you like most about it? What do you like least? Will you recommend the book to other people? Why or why not?

Please remember to add your actual rating using the book's page on: Bookshelves.

I was drawn towards this story due to the mention of quantum physics, a subject that I am highly interested in. Gladly, this story came up to my expectations. The author has merged the real-world events with imaginary science ( or maybe the future of science) to produce an emotional and engaging read. The book is filled with themes including sentiments, love, and friendship.

Robert Leet might be new in the profession of writing, but you should never realize that this novel is written by a first-time author. The story has been woven together in a commendable manner; this read never loses its track. I was hooked to this story right from the beginning where the plot moves around the early life of the central character Ron; till the end, where you would encounter some fictional concepts of science (quantum physics and future prediction).

I do not have anything negative to say about this book. There are some explicit scenes in the story that might need the reader’s discretion. Also, the science side of the story may seem overwhelming to some people, which takes quite a few pages of the book.

I would recommend it to an audience of science fiction as well as other people who do not mind a little bit of fantasy science in the real-world scenario. The sensitive audience may need to be cautious due to some erotic scenes in the novel.

NetMassimo wrote: 01 Nov 2020, 10:20 I gave it 3 out of 4 stars. It's good, but far from perfect. My impression is that the author used speculations based on quantum physics to develop reflections that are more philosophical and existential. I mean, there are discussions between Ron and Regina about the nature of time and its consequences that go beyond science. Towards the end (here's a little spoiler) there's a discussion about what could happen if you go timey-wimey and try to change the future and all that happens then that go well beyond our scientific knowledge. I'd recommend it to people who like this kind of speculations, certainly not to people interested in action-packed stories.
I understand that the concept of changing the future may be kind of fantasy science, but, personally, I enjoyed this description as I am interested in the topic of quantum physics, and the author seems to explain this fantasy science in the context of quantum physics in a manner which quite convincing and interesting.

I rated it a 3 out of 4 stars. The theories were mentally tasking as I do not know a thing about quantum physics. I felt the author should have simplified them. Regardless, I still enjoyed the plot. Ron is a thought-provoking character. I wondered all through the kind of person he is. I also liked the ironic ending. Overall, the book was okay.

I rated it 4 out of 4 stars. I thought the concept was unique and well delivered. I learned facts about college campus undergrounds as well as Quantum Science. I admired the ingenuity of providing science lessons throughout the book. Kudos to the author for such a creative "first book"

I will give it a 3 out of 4 star rating because i hard a very difficult time understanding it, the quantum physics lectures were too much. Science fiction lovers will enjoy reading this book. I love the storyline and plot.

I believe a rating of 3 out of 4 stars is very okay for the book. The author didn't break down some complexities which many would find difficult to comprehend as the book is mainly on quantum physics and related theories. Also there a few mis spelt words which can be distracting. Additionally, the relationship between Regina and Ron kept me engrossed to the reading as I love how she added value to his life. I'll recommend this book to physicists and lovers of science related books.

I rated it 3 stars. I liked the book and Ron's overall journey in life, but I thought anyone would be unprepared for the amount of physics in the story. I echoed Ron's thoughts at many points in the story when he dreaded Regina's lectures. I liked how the book ended though when Ron decided to mentor a little girl who made her own chess pieces. I would recommend this book to people who are interested in quantum physics and modern science but not to people who are just looking to read a good story.

I rated this book 4 out of 4 stars. The story has an interesting flow that made me continue reading it even though I knew it was mainly about physics. It feels like I was reading a physics textbook with dialogue. As much as I liked this book, I would not recommend it to readers who are not interested in physics because they might get bored while reading it.
Stay safe! Sending hugs

I was initially excited about this book as I love science stories especially ones that venture into theoretical science. But as I read through the sample I was highly disappointed that a.) the story felt like it was very slow to get going, and b.) the amount of sex and profanity was prolific just in the first few chapters.
Those are deal-breakers for me, so sadly, I did not get to enjoy a story I otherwise would probably have liked.

I rate Timewise a 4 out of 4 because i am impressed with the authors ability to describe clearly the scientific details he talked about, especially relating to quantum physics.

I gave it a 3 out of 4. I enjoyed learning about quantum physics. I think Mr. Leet explained it well enough. Though, I can see why some people would have a hard time grasping some of the concepts presented, especially since they do not follow conventional physics. The main problem that I had was that the emotional scenes did not feel all that emotional. I think the way Mr. Leet wrote those scenes, we as the reader know how important Regina is to Ron, but since those feelings are not explored, it does not have as much of an emotional impact as it could have.

This book would have been more interesting if the author had present the science and physics discussion in general terms rather than the jargon. I rate this book 3 out 4 because it was boring to me.

I personally enjoyed the main character's description of struggling with trying to keep his apartment rent paid, and how he had to look for acceptable roommates to help with expenses. Anyone, who has ever been a struggling college student, that didn't have a scholarship or wealthy parents, can easily empathize with the situation.

My own son confided in me that he often went dumpster diving, just to get by!

I rated the book 3 out of 4 stars. I liked how the author used the idea of a philosophical discussion to explain the physics theories. While I didn't understand all of the concepts, the author did an exceptional job explaining complex ideas in a way that that the layperson can understand. I did think that there was too much time spent on some of the more mundane elements of the characters' lives - it seemed to be overkill in what was an otherwise entertaining book. :techie-studyinggray:
