It was a pleasure to read your insightful, honest and comprehensive review. However, anything preaching any religion is not for me.

I have always believed the scriptures contains lessons regarding all works of life. I'm glad the author made available this knowledge she obtained from reading the scriptures. I would like to also learn from her perspective. Great book, and congrats on Botd.

It was with relief that I read the review and found that the book points out practical solutions to subjects like investing. After reading the sample, I was expecting yet another dull Christian attempt to evangelize and that's really not my thing. There is no doubt that the author is encouraging people to read the Bible and I have no problem with that. It was a little disappointing to read that there's nothing new presented in the book. I think I'll pass on this one. Good review - thanks.

A book that gives an overview of an introduction to the Bible and it's timeless, positive advice for everyday living seems like a good thing to read about. The Bible is complete and contains information that affects our daily living, I appreciate the author's thoughtfulness to make this book available. Congrats on Botd

It sounds like an in-depth explanation of the Bible that might not be so obvious when reading the Bible for the very first time. I do agree that the best type of Bible is the one that you will actually read, as I have picked up a few Bibles throughout my life, but my interest in the writing has always failed me. Thank you for the insightful and honest review! Happy reading :techie-studyinggray:

Now that's one way to get me to read religion related stuff. And honestly, that title is able to capture probably everyone's attention.

This is not a genre I read seeing as I am not very interested in literature referencing religion or topics related to religion, i.e. the bible. I am sure there are many though that would enjoy and take away vital and valid points from this book.

It is interesting that there are so many practical teachings that can be discovered in the Bible. This is an insightful read for Christian readers and those who are generally curious about the Bible. Thanks for the review.

This book seems very helpful, especially for Christians. But as I am neither a Christian nor have the time to read this book, I'll pass on this one.

Even though there was nothing revolutionary in this book, it sounds like a nice, practical guide for Christians. Great review!

True, the Bible is a book that showcases practical advice in a diversified level. I like that the author is encouraging readers to take their time and get to draw meaningful insights from the Bible to help them make wise decisions in their daily life activities. Additionally, when the flow and pacing of a narrative is good with ideal narrative tone, it makes the narrative sound appealing to listen to, something that the author did with her book. Sounds like an interesting spiritual book to look into. Congratulations on being the BOTD.
