Honestly? Countless reasons. I think what takes priority of why is that it's one of the few things that I can stay focused on AND remain interested.

I enjoy reading for several reasons. One it is a way to decompress for me. Two I love to learn new things and books allow me to learn at my own pace and in my own way. Finally, as an introvert, it's an easy way for me to get some "alone" time.

Why do I like reading hmmm well first and foremost reading is a mood coping stable mechanism it also helps with the brain development reading helps you see from all angles reading also allows us to know what the other person is thinking especially for the author who wrote the book helps us to visualize what they have mentally stored in their brains this is why I like to read

I love reading because not only do I learn new and interesting things, it transports me to whole new level of awareness. I can lose myself for hours in another world when I have an interesting fantasy novel reading. I especially love books that have historical content as I get to learn more about the world and the interesting cultures of others. I believe every child should be introduced to the wonders of reading.

I like reading for a myriad of reasons.
An inquisitive mind likes to learn and a book can provide the information being sought
Books can answer questions as easily as they can provoke them
They are a form of escape and relaxation
They cause the reader to think, to feel and to see things in different ways
They can be fun to read to children, to watch their little eyes look up in wonder and hopefully get them ready for sleep.

I love reading, because it is a way for me to escape the reality world. Reading books is like a portal to enter a fabulous world. A world full of amazing things. And I love it when I read every chapter of the book, I can imagine them in my mind. How the characters look, the way they move and many more.

Reading is full of endless possibilities. Unlike a movie, in a book you can kind of "cast" your own characters in your mind. For instance, Rhett Butler could be Johnny Depp when you read it if you wanted. Books can and have educated us on any subject since their existence. Reading can take you to another place. It is the most wonderful life skill to have!

Honeststly at this point reading is an escape from reality. Something that doesn't hurt my eyes after a while, and when I'm done with a good book I feel surreal. Those few moments make it enjoyable.

Honestly, I really had to think about this but I think it's because it takes you to a place that just doesn't exist in the real world. I also think while movies do it as well, there's something special about books because while what you are seeing in your head is based on what the author wrote, a major part is where your imagination takes you and I think that's special.

Escapism is a big part of it. It's fun to enter a whole new world based on the imagination of another person. Everybody has a different perspective on things, so it's a great way to practice putting yourself in somebody else's mindset. They bring their own experiences into the picture, too, so you might very well learn something new.

I have always loved reading like forever and with so many reasons. Paramount being that I love the freedom of imagination I involve my mindset to. Unlike my brother who loves to watch movies, I oftentimes see the limitations in what is set before him as all he can get.
