I would have never guessed that this was historical fiction. All the same, I agree with you. When am reading a book, I like to encounter multiple perspectives in order to relate to a particular character. Thanks for the recommendation.

Very true. And it is in moments like the one described in the book that one needs to be there for his/her partner.

Hi Yvonne,
I like your analysis of this book. Although I'm not really interested in it, I'm curious about Alzheimer's disease. It sounds like one of life's "below the belt" moves. I don't wish it on anyone.

Unfortunately, my father in law has Alzheimer, and we all feel very helpless seeing how the illness progresses. Thanks for stopping by!
