With this kind of book it’s hard to know if it’s going to be to your taste or not, but this review was pretty helpful. Thanks for the review!

I have a soft spot for anything with music involved, so Lily's talent in playing the piano piqued my interest in the book. The premise sounds like it is a tale of hope, friendship, courage and love. I would definitely recommend this to fans of romantic historical fiction. Thanks for the review.

This is a wonderful review. I have never read a historical romance novel. This will be my first. I would love to read about Lily's life journey.

Oftentimes when I read about love I get invaluable insight into the thinking of women. They are indeed flowers of the world. A woman's mind seeks love like a hungry hound onto a prey's scent. It baffles me. A great love and slave story. #BOTD.

Although I enjoy historical fictions in general, romance is not my preferred choice. I found the opening scene quite unsettling and wanted to know more, though. Thank you for this honest and engaging review!

This definitely sounds like an engaging historical romance novel, with well-written and relatable characters. It is a bit odd that the characters switch between accents, but all in all, it seems like it would be an enjoyable read. Thanks for the thorough review!

I don't really like romance novels, but I do enjoy historical fiction and I think I might be able to tolerate the romance in this one, given how good the rest of it sounds. I think I will check it out. Thank you for your review, and congratulations on Book of the Day!

Forbidden romantic story lead by Lily, seems a good plot portraying slave life, blended with emotionally driven scenes, must be a unique one. Nice story, Acwoolet. Thanks,
