The book seems to have a solid plot. I try to read books with an open mind, no matter how debatable, so I don't think I would mind the sensitive topics. Moreover, I am curious to know how the baby fared.

Unfortunately, even through reviewer made great work describing this book to its best advantage, it sounds a bit too close to reality to appeal to my tastes. I really don't enjoy reading about grave social issues and therefore will skip this book. Sorry and congratulations!

One thought dominated my mind as i read through the review. Would i be able to control my reaction towards the character's controversial views and ideas? I can imagine that this would be a challenging book to read and this challenge seems interesting. I absolutely welcome the writer's idea of letting the character's speak their mind in their own words. It's genius to present one story from multiple angles. But i may not like the loose end. Thanks for the review.

I feel this book is an emotional trigger. I wonder what will make someone abandon a baby. Wonderful review.

I’m not really interested in the subject the author explores, but I do like that he included so many interesting perspectives and discussion topics.

This story is mainly about child abandonment, abortion, and adoption, but it also delves into other controversial topics. It shows different sides of drug-use, immigration, military service, police corruption, religion, politics, and even pit-bull ownership.
I like that the author addresses issues that have become volatile due to staunch opposing opinions. Hopefully this book can help open up civil dialogue. Great review!
