A crime thriller with a female lead investigating the death of her uncle sounds interesting for fans of the genre. Hope the author fixes the grammatical errors. Thanks for the review!

I'm glad the book doesn't have too much violence/gore. I love mysteries but hate reading anything too graphic. It's a pity about the error count. I hope the author will take your advice and revise the book. Thanks for the great review!

I think that what I enjoy the most about this review is that you make sure to let us know that there is not a lot of violence or scenes with a lot of gore. I do hope that Zoey finds out who murdered her uncle. Thanks for a great review! :)

Thanks for the great review. It sounds like it is a good book. Writing in the 1st person can be a bit tricky, but it sounds like the author did that well. Sad about the errors, but I think I would still like the book.

I enjoyed reading the free sample of this book, but I felt like the writing was almost a little too simple. It was definitely written from the point of view of a young woman, which meant some sentences were grammatically incorrect. I think sometimes this can work, but felt it would frustrate me over time.

Wow, great review, did Zoeyj provide it, and who had killed the uncle, so many questions unanswered, this is a must read for me, I like such investigative novels. Congrats on BOTD.

It is too bad that the book did not benefit from professional proofreading as I agree with you: it has what it takes to be a great crime story, with the right level of mystery and uncovering, some of the facts left to the reader to deduct.
A great book and a great review. I look forward to reading it and also the sequel.

Working on a cold case and suddenly turning up dead is definitely suspicious and I believe Zoey will find the answer before the end of the story. I'm already excited about this book and the review was well written.

It sounds like an interesting plot and it's nice that the language was clean and there were no sexual scenes or graphic descriptions of violence. Hopefully the author will edit the book so that it can gain 4 stars

I can't imagine what Zoey went through researching a murder case of her uncle on her own. It sounds like a compromising situation to be in. I loved the book reviews.

Zoey's character seems amazing already. This is quite an overwhelming thriller. This review is an awesome glimpse of this novel. Great job @Chipochashe
