I have just read the sample but did enjoy it. It's kind of like the mystery TV shows I grew up with years ago but in book form. Good, but clean. Thank you for the wonderful review and for letting me know that it really is a clean book as far as language. Perhaps at another time, the errors can be caught.

I love novels that keep me on my toes and make me think, and this book seems to have those factors. This is another excellent addition to the crime-thriller genre. Thanks for the review.

It's a shame that the lack of thorough proofreading detracts from the overall rating of what otherwise sounds like a really good crime thriller. I'm looking forward to following along with Zoey as she solves it.
Thanks for the review.

This book sounds like a great choice for mystery fans. It’s great that the errors were minor. Even though it’s not my style of book, I enjoyed the sample and this review. Thanks for a detailed review!

I have always believed in these inner detective instincts. They are great for unraveling mysteries, crime especially. I love this book already.

Great review. I really enjoy books written in the first person narrative so this sounds right up my alley. I like knowing what the person is thinking. I also enjoy reading crime thrillers so this is a good match, I look forward to reading it in its entirety.

From what I have read so far, this sounds like it is going to be an excellent detective story. Poor Zoey Calloway, out for her morning jog, gets a phone call from the police stating that her Uncle Felix has died. That same day, she receives a mysterious package, wrapped in plain brown paper, from her deceased Uncle. When Zoey stops by to visit the home of her deceased Uncle, it is surrounded by police cars and is being treated as a crime scene.

I am going to look forward to reading more of this story, especially on a chilly day, with a hot cup of coffee or cocoa in my hand.

Zoey seems to be an amazing and
captivating protagonist. Even though the plot story does not sound very new, I bet the mystery around it is thrilling enough.
