I'd definitely enjoy reading this one; curious about Zoey's uncle and the case he was working on.

This is my second review of this book since I did not receive credit for the first one. I love a good mystery and this book had me hooked after the first two chapters. I have added the book to my want to read shelf and I do intend to read the entire book. I like the format written in the first person because readers can see what is going on in Uncle Felix's niece's mind. The last few books have been free but this one is not, a decision made by the author or the onlinebookclub? I could almost feel the gears turning in my head as the clues were mentioned, i.e. Uncle Felix hated baths so why would he have been found in the bath? Felix's office was ransacked, the desk drawers were dumped on the floor, the computer and printer were gone and the first edition book collection had been rifled through. The official review was good but there was too much focus on punctuation errors. I would hope the publisher would have the book edited for errors before it was published so I would have given the book 4 of 4 stars instead of the 3 stars given by the official reviewer. I am also going to add Debi Chestnut to the authors I follow.

Crime thriller isn't my cup of tea, but from the review I've read, this is definitely a great read. I appreciate the author's ability to eliminate moments of boredom and putting it together in a simple English. Congrats on the BOTD!

I'm not really into mystery, thriller books, although I am for a short read. I think I have to go out of my comfort zone and try this book. It looks really interesting. Many thanks

This sounds like a crime thriller, with fascinating characters. With a good editing, Bad Karma would be a very interesting book to read. Nice review

This is a simple and honest review of a good crime thriller. I like strong women protagonist in crime thrillers and Debbie seems to be just that kind of person. I would gladly read this book. Thanks for the review!

I’m all for strong female characters like Zoey and I'm curious to know how her story plays out. Bonus points to the author on the succinct plot delivery. Great review.

Great review! I live detective novels and Zoey Calloway sounds like an interesting character. The novel sounds all the better since the victim is her own uncle.
