Thank you for the insight into this book. A fictional book about Marilyn Monroe sounds interesting and fun, given how she was. The plot does not interest me that much so I will skip this one, but congrats to the author on BOTD! :)

This sounds really fascinating and something that ardent fans of historical fiction could enjoy reading. Thanks for the informative review.

I do not find historical fiction intriguing, but this seems like it'll be worth the read.

Trudy's house did some good to Penny; she got the invitation to work for Marilyn after moving to Trudy's place.

I was wondering if this was a life story about Marilyn Monroe. It turns out to be historical fiction and about a girl who gets the opportunity to work for her instead. Great thinking!

The fact that Marilyn Monroe takes a backseat in the story makes the premise of this book fresh and interesting. I feel like this is an underdog story which will definitely connect with majority of the readers. Thanks for the review.

This book sounds interesting enough, but I can not see myself reading it. Because I'm not much of a Marilyn Monroe fan. But, do love mystery and romance. Thank you for the review!

Wow! This book sounds unique both in its premise and its characterisation. It's like a conflict between the masked us and the real us. The paranormal aspect you mentioned took me by surprise, however, I would have to find out how that turns out by myself. Thanks for this amazing review!

What an I spiring story. It is a silent fact that each of us are somehow strengthened by our fellow humans. Their triumphs, challenges, grace, and resolve. Congrats to the author 👍

Thank you for sharing your review with us. Although I am a fan of Marylin Monroe, I would rather read non-fiction about her, so I think I would give this one a pass.

I enjoyed the free sample because it gave Marilyn Monroe more character than most writers that have portrayed her as a blond bimbo. She was much more than a sexy lady that enticed a president and his brother. It was an interesting excerpt of her life even though it was historical fiction. The official review was good and I agree with the 4 out of 4 star review.

A lovely story. A must-read story. At first, I thought Stan Drake is the friend of Marilyn Monroe whom this book is titled, but it was Penny Parker. Penny's life changed when she became assistant of Marilyn.

I neither get a sense from this review of the connection to nor the absence of it from Marilyn Monroe. That leaves me to conclude that it is primarily a fiction.
