Re: Can anyone reccomend a good Netflix movie or series?
One, Klaus, is an animated feature that had been nominated for an Academy Award in 2019. It's set in the 19th century and concerns a self-centered postman who is sent to try to establish a post office in a town terrorized by two feuding families. While there, he encounters a reclusive toymaker who lives in a forest outside of the town. The two eventually join forces to bring toys to the local children.
Klaus is essentially an origin story about Santa Claus. It differs from most such stories in that Klaus is a normal man who does not use magic. The story thus comes up with non-magical explanations for Klaus' actions. He makes his deliveries at night, for example, to avoid trouble with the feuders. Klaus is much too large to go down a chimney -- but the short and skinny postman can manage that with no problem.

If you're wanting something less scary/creepy then I'd go for The Last Kingdom. Vikings!
