I liked this book. Writing style of this author makes me anticipate reading another of his books ASAP! It's a straightforward procedural detective story with a refreshingly non-angst-ridden protagonist.Beautiful visualizations of Hawaii and just the right length for an evening read. Enjoyed it.

Thank you for the review. I enjoy investigative thrillers and a voracious reader. I do hope, as you indicated, that this book is not so predictable as a spouse of the victim being the murderer, or at least not for the same old reasons. I look forward to it.

Dying while on vacation would be the ultimate sort of unfortunate irony. I do like a good detective novel with an engaging, descriptive writing style, so I’ll have to check this one out! 🔍

Hogan, private investigator is asked to solve a murder while vacationing in Hawaii with his partner Kathy. This book is nicely written, an easy-to-read murder mystery. I enjoyed the descriptive writing, the process the couple went through in order to solve the murder as well as the relatable romance between the main characters. I enjoyed the good review of this book.

I did not want to stop reading the sample. What happened to Justin's wife? Did she have Justin murdered? These are two of the questions I came away with after sampling the book. Thank you for your review.
