Good review.I just read a sample of this book for BOTD. I thought it was a fairly paced and exciting for the few chapters that I read. I agree with what you say in the review though. The narration is a little long-winded at times. Still, I though the idea of the character was interesting, although his morals were turning me off to the book a little I think.

It's amazing that the author managed to write descriptively and put emphasis on a character's personality, while still having so many themes and a clear plot. The book sounds complete in that perspective. However, it's not a genre I would ever approach.

Wao. You did a good job. Your words are captivating and thrilling just like the book itself. This review depicted the main character as interesting. I feel like reading the whole series. And I will like to know if this book can be read as a standalone?

This is no doubt a suspenseful storyline. Clint's character appears to be interesting yet with a grey side to it. Why did Pablo instructs him to stay back in Miami, could he be the main target of the intercartel war? Would love to find out myself. Thank you for the captivating review, worth reading. And yes, it's a well deserving 4 out 4 stars. Congratulations!

It seems to be a very bloody, action-packed novel and I am very intrigued to know Clint and learn about his personality to determine why he became so powerful and successful in a very dangerous world of vices and death.

Clint's character is thrilling and exciting. Doing illegal to make life better, even if he does it, he still has a good heart.

I can certainly imagine that faucet of wealth! The main protagonist's name was a brilliant idea. I would wager Clint Eastwood and the Kennedys had something to do with it. I look forward to reading this thrilling story. I can even forgive the author for misspelling the name of my favorite witch, Madame Granger!

Clint seems to be a complex and fascinating character with some flaws but also with an interesting background. I didn't read the previous book of The Clint Kennedy Crime series, so I don't know if I'm going to read it right now. Thanks for the informative review!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting crime/thriller following a criminal who works for a drug kingpin. When he attempts to travel to Mexico to take care of a family emergency, his boss orders him to stay in Miami, which he finds out is because of an intense inter-cartel war where kingpins are dying. It might be worth a second look. Well done.
