Official Review: Moon Gods by Golden Feather
Moon Gods was written by Golden Feather. In this educative book, the writer used his archeology knowledge to discuss the artifacts and the past generations’ remains. He taught his readers how to approach misplaced information when there was no modernization. The author further described how the ancient artists put facts and imprints together to help us recognize the cravings on the rocks. The author, Golden Feather, also explained how they discovered the oracle stone, the rock goddess. From this book, you will find out that the author explained how spiritual beings connect to the past carvings on ancient rocks.
Sometimes, we must get to understand how our future connects with our pasts. Many people do not have enough information about their ancestors. I liked how the author explained the importance of archeology. Without archeology, we would have evolved, not understanding the true meaning of our existence.
I also liked that the author exposed us to the moon god, different gods, and goddesses. I also found it amazing how the author did his researches and came up with certain discoveries. For instance, his discussion on how our ancestors discovered the serpent god art was amazing to me.
Another fact I found impressive was that the author explained how the moon god affects women’s cycle. As the author had said, “Known as the ‘Moon-god,’ he is the master of time and the ruler of women. Since the moon’s cycle controls a woman’s cycle.”
What I liked most about this book was how the writer linked our past and our future. An instance was how he enlightened us about what happened thousands of years ago.
I also liked the pictures that backed up the author’s assertions. I liked it because it helped me comprehend the book and see the reality of what he discussed. This book has religious content and might only suit Christians. The author expressed his faith in Jesus Christ in some instances.
However, what I disliked most about this book was that the descriptions of serpents. The author, Golden Feather, should have considered that most people don’t appreciate snakes. For me, I found it scary and irritating.
This book was not professionally edited. I found many grammatical errors in the book, and I was displeased. Also, I found only borderline profanity in the book. Overall, I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars. Since I still enjoyed the book, I could not remove another star from it. I suggest that children should not read this book because some aspects of it are scary. I recommend this book, Moon Gods, to those who love reading books on ancient and archeological discoveries.
