To wake up in a hospital with one's face and fingers cut off....I cannot imagine how disconcerting that would be. I do hope Matthias was able to get closure on his past and the people who were after him. An intriguing read this book. Thank you for your great review

I don't want to imagine what it feels like to wake up in such a helpless and life wrecking situation. Matthias is certainly going to suffer a lot in this book. I would love to see how the situations would turn out and what plot twists the writer has up their sleeves.

Reading the two books at a stretch will do this book justice. I can't explain how delighted I was when I saw 'suspense'. Good review!

I can only imagine the vengeful feelings anyone would have if their face and ten fingers were taken away. This seems like a suspenseful and intriguing read.

This plot sounds fantastic. I wonder how Matthias plans to exert revenge without a face and fingers.

How can a human function without a face and fingers? This is going to be a very interesting read. Thanks for your review.

The main character appears to have gone through a very traumatic experience right from the start. I love when a book hooks you right out of the gate, and this story seems to do just that. :techie-studyinggray:

Sounds like an action packed thriller, though I am still not fully aware what sort of a story this is. Anyway I would like to try the whole series since I am intrigued. Congratulations on being BOTD

I like that the narration is linear. It is just my preference for books. The amnesia topic is very interesting. Matthias sure comes off as a strong character. You give some excellent points for readers of the genre to pick this book up. Great job!

I like the personality loss and discovery theme. I already feel inclined to know what happened and how did he bounce back. The book seems truly amazing and captivating.

That's a book written in a totally unique narration style. I really want to read both the volumes of the series.
