The first novel details Matthias' plan to make his assailants suffer and regain his fingers and get a new face. The second novel then raises the question, 'What happens in the happily ever after?' I don't like books that spill into sequels, but I would make an exception and give this one a try. I hope I enjoy it. Congrats on the BOTD.

I can't even imagine waking up to discover I have gone through a face transplant, that would crush anyone. I'm curious to know the drama that unfolded in this book after the main character's identity was changed without his consent. Nice review you've got there.
