I thought this will be a book about therapy and such. I was so wrong. It will be a treat to know how the author blurred the lines between villains and heroes. Thank you for the review. Keep it up!

Although I'm a huge fan of sci-fi, especially dystopian themed, and the book's premise is interesting, I found the sample to be poorly written and quite confusing. For example, where did it say that Calvin is eleven? "Helpful" and powerful objects seem just conveniently to show up, *poof* without explanation. I like the idea of an alien who has come to earth teaming up with a child rather than an adult, but the writing needs a lot of work before I would be interested in reading it. Still, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the review!

Wow, I never would've guessed that plot from its title. It makes it interesting, though; I want to know the meaning behind it. I don't know what to expect from this story and have no theories on how it might end. Let's see how it goes.

The futuristic perspective of the novel appeals to me to read about the two aliens who come to Earth to recover their artifact.

Science-fiction fans who enjoy a dystopian setting, fast-moving action, superheroes, and strong characterization should check this book out. I'm not attracted to superhero movies or books, but the rest of the storyline has piqued my interest. Great review!

I find it interesting that you compared it to the comic book series. I would not think that a book would be capable of replicating these stories and characters in a new way, but it seems that Tactile Therapy: Volume One was able to do so. Thanks for the honest review! :)

This sounds like an action-packed superhero story. I am a fan of young adult dystopian fiction, so I'll give this one a try!
There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!

Thank you for your honest review. I'm really glad that you enjoyed the story. While I don't mind Marvel, I too would be upset about a boy using a machine gun and quite a bit of swearing. I will pass on this one.

This story really sound great. I cannot imagine the possibility of people diverting asteroid from the earth except those people actually have special abilities. How will this story finally go. I love to read this book. Thanks for your review.
