I'm definitely intrigued by this book. I like my paranormal books filled with romance and mystery and this seems like a great read for me. Glad to read all your glowing praises. I will check it out.

Quite exciting a review. The murder suspense had me wondering how a protective father ends up killing his own son. The forbidden romance element is interesting to note. Still not sure if it's a book I'd like to read yet. Thank you for a beautiful review.

The idea of someone going from angelic to demonic in the blink of an eye always presents an opportunity to delve into the nature of good and evil, hopefully, the author did a job in portraying the complexities and moral nuances of said distinction.

This book seems to be about a father doing anything, even sacrificing himself, to protect his child. There seem to be some sci-fi or fantasy elements to this story as well with mythological creatures.

I'm curious about the reason why Poe needed to kill his son, if all he wanted was to protect him. Action-packed stories isn't my cup of tea, but the supernatural "spice" in the story sounds interesting.
