I like the fact that the book cover features a painting. However, I find the typeface of the text a bit off-putting and out of place. I suggest the author find hire a better graphic designer to design the cover art. Overall, the official OBC review is detailed and extremely helpful. Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

Reading a story of when life was simpler, and people looked out for each other is a nice idea as it may help instill these attributes to young people. I'm pretty sure readers would enjoy this. Congrats on Botd.

The reviewer casually threw in a character named Madigan as if she was mentioned before, its funny because I had to read from the top to find a Maduagn but couldnt. The story reminds me of the good times being little with no worries. Good review!

Linda and Karen's disobedience to Mr Mccdowell's order is a classic example of what children do. This book seems to be full of fun and adventure.

This review is really good and how it explains a bit about the story without revealing too much is amazing. This book, as based on the review, seems really interesting and good to read. I may add it to my bookshelf. :)
