Thanks for a great review. What an ingenious way to teach good leadership skills. Giving the information in story form would be much more interesting and memorable than reading "how to". I've often thought that the "undercover boss" idea is a good one. Giving all employees a stake in their success is good too.

A helpful fictional story in the book The Consummate Communicator" by Amy S Hamilton, which can be used as a tool for teaching the fundamental set of behaviors to the employees to transform a company into a better place to work. I will grab a copy of this book soon.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Thank you for a great review! I like the idea of a project manager going undercover to see what the business is really like before beginning the leadership changes. It sounds like a helpful book for businesses or organizations trying to get out of a rut and change the way they run things.

I appreciate that this book shows the ways businesses can change and adapt instead of simply telling people what they should do. I often struggle with non-fiction books that don't show an example of what these conversations can look like. Thanks for the review!

The Consummate Communicator ~ is a Business Non-fictional Book which tells of how a business fable designed to share fundamental behaviors that improves working conditions and leadership techniques. As this would help Human Resource Managers to better serve the customers on a whole.

As many banks treat their customers very unpleasant, this behavior have to be addressed, for the benefit of both customer and the bank. Great for Business students, Office professionals, and Managers.

I am somewhat confused about this one. Not only by concept of "fictional story that can be used as a teaching tool" but content as well. Bank, market and "selling off assets and liquidate" are all foreign topics to me, I don't understand theirs inner workings nor do I have any interest to study them. Sorry, but I will pass this book.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the book is written in story form. Because of your review, I am interested in reading - especially to find out how Jay deals with the inflexible manager. 😊

Thank you for including the information about Ms Hamilton's other book and video.

Brilliant review. Sounds like this book would be a great read. Change is constant, so everyone should embrace it. I look forward to learning how to deal with people who will not, like the one Manager in this book.

The one thing that stands out the most is that this bank wouldn't hesitate to screw someone over and that's not right because if a bank does that then the government will shut them down for good. I would not read this for personal reason along the line that my bank screwed me over.
