Wow! The storyline is breathtaking with awesome twists and plots. Sean seems like a great character and one to learn from. I will love to read this book. Nice review.

There's a way a book with several twists and a high level of suspense makes one feel. Discovering who actually killed Sean's girlfriend might be a surprising one.

I think the book and I have different moral lines, so I’ll be passing on this one. That being said, I will also say, I like the author’s way with words and I think the story sounds intriguing.

This book was a bit on the gruesome side for me, so I don’t plan to add it to my reading list. I like that the character development is so good, and that the few errors didn’t detract from the book’s rating. Thanks for a great review!

After struggling to read through the sample pages without getting to upset, and all the tense action going on... Im not sure that I will continue reading it just yet, but
I came here to check out your review. Thank you for a very thorough job! You have detailed this story so well for us.

Not my type of book this one, bit it seems well written, judging by the sample. Your warning about the graphic nature of the beginning is in order. 😣

Eek, yikes. Suicide, murder, kids with cancer... too much for me. Thank you for your review, though, and congratulations on Book of the Day!

I'm definitely going to read this! The plot is immersive and absolutely captivating. I'm curious about a lot of things really, who is this Beatles' song murderer?

You Say Goodbye is a novel written by Keith Steinbaum about a musician by the name of Sean Hightower, whose musical career has been going nowhere. He loved spending time with her and after one of his gigs he went home to find her naked, raped and dead with a bullet hole in her head. She had been raped and murdered by a serial killer, who has been called “The Beatles' Song Murderer”. This is because he leaves messages from Beatles' songs at his murder scenes.

Sean's father wants him to learn the car sales business and take over the dealership in a few years. Now, Sean has just found out that he probably has cancer. Thinking he has nothing to live for, he plans his suicide. Unexpectedly, he has a chance meeting with a little girl with cancer, Kayleigh, who lives next door. She has such an indomitable spirit and is struggling so hard to survive that he forgets about plans for suicide.

The official review really peaked my interest because of the twists and turns in the story and the link to Beatle songs. The official review was very good and I can see why this book deserves a 4 out of 4 stars.

This suspenseful crime novel contains some very heavy topics that might make it difficult to read for some readers.
There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!

I started out thinking this would be another typical murder mystery, but the introduction of Kayleigh, the little girl with cancer, adds a whole new dimension to this book. With the overarching mystery and the well-developed characters, this book will have something to offer everyone. Thanks for the review!
