I love the title of this book, and the details in the review don't disappoint me: humor, sarcasm, I am curious to see how it will be described that the Ladykillers see women as lesser beings. I hope for some strong female characters to prove them wrong.

A book about an extremist group is timely based upon our current political climate. Thank you for your review.

When I read the words "wave of women leaders" I thought this book might be really good. I wouldn't complain how the story went, I think the authors wrote a good novel, but if I had the chance to change anything in the book, I would like to add more relevant female characters in the story. Anyways, you did a good job on your review!

The Lady Killers War ~ is a Crime Thriller Book which tells of a plot to target women in high political office or high status jobs. Very real. Hate groups. Fast-paced. Mysterious.

It sounds like a KGB involvement of crime and suspense. Things took a turn when Max's wife become the primary target of the group, due to her status and political positions. Well-developed characters.

A group of killers targeting women leaders? Now that is different. The review has sold me on the book. This sounds like it will keep me on the edge of my seat. Thank you for such a well-written review! I suppose that the main character will have to act fast in order to make sure his wife remains safe. I wonder how they will catch the group.

"The LadyKillers War" by Peter Goldman, with Nicola Malatesta, PI - A Private Investigator, Max Christian, is not the happiest of men. His wife Meridew Hadley wins an election to become a congresswoman which means a long-distance commute for Max. Then his ex-partner tells him about a group called The Ladykillers Liberation Army whose goal is to kill 5 new congresswomen and their families. Max is scared for Neridew and hires a PI, Nick Testa, to help him protect his wife. There are twists and turns galore, and the crime mystery has a fast pace. Thanks for the great review.

I like the prospect of reading this; mystery thrillers or psychological thrillers always seem to be enjoyed by many, myself included, and this one is definitely intriguing. I'm looking forward to seeing the mystery unfold "in small tantalizing details," as you put it. Thanks for the review!

This looks like an intriguing book which might develop into a good critique against social issues, while also reading a nice crime novel. I might give it a shot. Thanks for your review, it was very nice.

A deeply satisfying crime thriller novel "The LadyKillers War" by Peter Goldman, with Nicola Malatesta, PI. The book focuses on Max Christian,a retired NYPD homicide detective and his wife, Meridew Hadley, a newly elected Congresswoman. It is interesting how Max saves his wife from life threat from a secret killer group.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.
