This book is 280 pages in PDF format. Two Lifetimes by Patti Henry, if I should describe it in a few terms, is more of a self-help book since the author delved into different areas of life that seek to address the necessity of living and not just existing. Furthermore, Patti Henry achieved this by exploring the different stages of life, which she depicted as "Lifetime One" and "Lifetime Two." A specific lifetime portrayed the stage where a person is vulnerable, weak, unstable, and full of regrets, while the other aspect represented a more experienced phase, where the individual is truly living, and this is irrespective of age. Furthermore, the strategy of switching to a better life was illustrated in detail.

One outstanding thing about this book was the author's use of real-life stories and quotes to drive home her point. This stood out for me because the incorporation made for a swift comprehension of the overall premise of Two Lifetimes. Also, I appreciated some thought-provoking statements that I came across. Here is an example I found on page 52; "We think we can get to the good stuff by having a lot of money or buying a lot of things or having sex with a lot of partners, or, or, or—a million different attempts that feel good for a moment but eventually feel empty, hollow." This assertion struck a chord in me, and I realized that sometimes what we call having fun and living our best life are not those in the real sense. Rather, those can be likened to reckless living.

A negative aspect of this book is the few errors I encountered, including the presence of some confusing sentences. However, since what I loved about this book supersedes the unfavorable part, my overall rating of this book will not be affected.

Seeing that I have a strong likeness for the premise of Two Lifetimes, coupled with the fact that there was nothing substantial to dislike, I will rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. It is also worthy to note that this book was professionally edited.

Finally, this book will be beneficial for persons that need words of encouragement regarding how to live a profitable life. On the other hand, individuals who seek a blueprint to help face their fears head-on and at the same time discover ideas that will help them pull through will find this a worthy read. And as such, I recommend Two Lifetimes to them.

Indeed there is a big difference between merely existing and really living and this is independent of age and time. Great review.

Leading a profitable life has more to do with one's personal decision and mentality. I believe this book will provide that mental shift needed to make things change. Thanks for a great review.

Most of us cruise through life as if it is just a responsibility to, we do not take time to truly live life and enjoy it. I am glad that this book will enlighten many on how to truly live. A very thought-provoking book I guess. People do need to leave their material-based lives in order for them to be truly happy. Perfect review!

Indeed, there are different stages of life. Hence, one has to make the best out of every stage to avoid regrets later in life. The part i loved most is "We should strive to live, not just to exist". Inspiring review.
