Generally, child abuse and sexual molestation is on the increase on daily basis and parents can't be excused in about 80% of such cases. Proper attention and listening ears to these innocent little ones will help in a long way to reduce this crime.
A wonderful piece from the author at least, this story is from the the murder's point of view.
Thank you for job well done in this review.

The book does seem to contain some sensitive topics that are sad to say, does happen in real life. The point of view from the murderer's point of view does sound interesting, but I'll have to pass this one due to sensitive scenes that involve a child, which I'm not very comfortable with. Regardless, thank you for the thorough review.

Interesting starting point to have the murderer tell his story. I didn't expect it to turn into a book touching upon topics like child abuse. While I also don't like the stereotypes highlighted, I know I can put these in perspective and hope other readers will too.

The only thing that sounds interesting to me is the murderer's point of view. Otherwise, these topics are too heavy for me to pick this book up. Great job with the review.

This sounds like an interesting book. Child sexual abuse happens more often than anyone knows, and usually within the child's family! The book sounds like an emotional read. I like that in your recommendations, you put that the book might initiate "triggers" in some people. Child sexual abuse is something that one never forgets; they usually suppress it, so a story like this could trigger memories and emotions they think they have come to terms with! Thanks for the insightful review!

Thanks for your review. This book sounds like the confession of a murderer. I wonder if James did something indecent with his sister, and if that was the reason he killed her.

I have a hard time believing all 19-year-old males cannot control themselves due to hormones. Thank you for your review.

My interest in the book is piqued. I enjoy reading books from a different perspective. I just won't be reading this book around the holidays. Great review!

Murder stories rarely center on the perpetrator. It's refreshing to see someone with an unusual approach to the popular genre.

I liked this review. I also agree that you can’t stereotype all men. Each man is responsible for their own actions, thoughts, you can not lump them all together and say this is how all men act. I will read the whole short story now because of the review.

I think it was more than a 'mistake.' Also, the book makes it sound like you can't trust any 19 year old male. I'd hate to believe that is true. On reading the first few chapters I'm wondering why the second wife is sometimes called Betsy and and sometimes called Patsy.

I am not interested in reading a crime story from the murderer's point of view, whether it is fiction or real. Your review is very informative, though.

How difficult for a brother to confess he did murder his sister, and little brother scape goat. Great review, Ria710. Thanks.

This is an interesting crime fiction novel on the account of the murder of a little girl, as told through the confession of the brother who committed the crime. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD.

I like that it raises awareness on one of the most important issues while keeping a fast pace and leaving out the troubling details. Thanks for the review shall definitely check it out.
