I really want to read a book about someone who escaped from North Korea. Now it feels like my chance. Thank you!

In this book, Keriz Rosado narrates Shang Ik Moon’s journey from North Korea to America. I look forward to reading about that journey. Congrats on the BOTD.

Seems like Moon has experienced quite a lot of hardships in his life. Moon seems like a very tenacious man. Thanks for the great review.

A memoir covering childhood hardships that is hard to imagine and yet found hope from a chaplain. I look forward to reading Moon's inspiring life. Great review!

The author has surely been through a lot during his childhood days, from seeing the second world war, to being smuggled across borders during the Korean war, to finding Christianity and making to to America. I am sure we could all learn a lesson from his experiences. Thanks for the review!

If may be an encouraging read but I don't think I'll enjoy it. I'm sure other readers would appreciate it though.

His reason for choosing Christianity is a unique one. It bears testament to the fact that our lifestyle can induce a positive change in another. Great review.

Unfortunately, this whole book series for several reasons is definitely not the one for me. I don't have any interest in religious literature, avoid non-fiction whenever I could and have no business in events taking place while at missionary work. Congrats on BOTD still in order through!

This sounds like a great story, and it seems like the main character went through a lot. I would definitely be interested in reading about the circumstances he faced in WWII and the Korean War. Although, I'm not really that interested in reading about Christianity. So, I'll probably pass on this book. Thanks for the great review.
