A journey through life, when it is not what we envisioned often causes disappointment; Wick has used his experiences as stepping stones for fulfillment. It takes a special kind of story for a memoir to capture my attention and this book doesn't really sound like one that I'd enjoy reading so I think that I will pass. Add in the issues with all the errors and I think that those would take away from the book too much for me and make it a struggle to read.

Today's book is the third in it's volume. We get to see how the writer suffered traumatic experiences and eventually used hard drugs to overcome his PTSD. There are lovely pictures of places he has visited. Although the repetitive nature isn't appealing.

I'm not a fan of memoirs but judging by the review the book seems interesting. The story sounds very emotional and educational at the same time as the author included the historical section and the cultural aspects concerning the places he travelled to while being a marine. I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!
