Very many books and inspiring articles have been written by people after they run marathons. There's something about running marathons (and completing them) that gives inspiration. Just getting to the finish line is enough. After all, life is a marathon, not a sprint.

I have to agree with everyone when they say the title is puzzling yet intriguing. I am glad I read your review as it was it was very informative. I do think I will be passing on this one for the time being.

Its truly a wonderful book that encourages one to connect with others in a way to help one another.

I love that quote, "For every naysayer there is a yaysayer in the same situation getting it done." This sounds like an awesome book and I will definitely be checking it out. Thanks for your review!

The title caught my attention and made me giggle which was great because it made me read this great review. I have been reading some self-help books lately and this looks like it could be a good for future reading. Thank you for taking the time to write this!

The review is very well written it helped me to know what actually the book is about. The author way of seeing life always in a optimistic manner intrigued me. The use of photos to narrate the incidents in her life is thoughtful. The book seems promising and enlightening. I will definitely give the book a worth read.

I like that the author reminds people to seize every single opportunity coming their way because opportunity only comes once. Self help books can be tedious but i thonk this will be a great read.

This seems like a different type of self-help book. It sounds more personal than that. Like the reviewer said it sounds more like it would be an elder family member imparting life wisdom. I'm not usually one for self-help, but this sounds like it could be very interesting.

The book sounds uplifting, but not quite what I'm looking for right now. I think I'll pass. Thank you for your review, though, and congratulations on Book of the Day!

This is a fun read as well as encouraging. It appears the author has lived a good life and, in her book, she describes some of these events. A portion of the book is more self-help for the reader, backed up by the author’s experiences. I also like the quote: “Going through disasters or tragic incidents brings out the awareness of the need for empathy and understanding.” as well as a few others. Thanks for the excellent review on this book.

The title of the book gives away nothing about the book content. Both the title and the book are intriguing though. Congratulations to the author for the BOTD honour.
And thanks to the reviewer for this amazing review :tiphat:

The title of the book captures my attention at first because I don't really know what to expect. The book sounds interesting especially to someone who feels like they have hit rock bottom. It's a nice book to encourage someone to seize opportunities.
