This seems like an ideal book for any casual reader. Very analytic and to-the-point review that spotted all likes and dislikes I think. Thanks for sharing!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting autobiographical self-help work designed to assist people in overcoming difficulties and seizing opportunities. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

These days I am working on creating a positive mindset so I have feeling this book will help me with it. I usually have difficulties in finishing self-help books but as this book is autobiography I think I'll enjoy reading it.

Insightful review! You made an interesting analysis as well with parallels to your own life. I like that you listed some issues as well, not simply jumping to 4 stars. Sounds like an interesting book.

Sounds like the author has led an interesting life (most of us don't end up with a rooster in our bathrooms). I'm glad you mentioned it isn't a one size fits all self help book (feels like we see too many of those) and I love that you said it felt like a convo with your grandma at parts. Seems like it was a really helpful book for you.

Learning through the experiences of others is a great way of growing. People who share their experiences with a view to helping others are worthy of accolades. A grand salute to the author for sharing hers. Great review.

This book is for me, the quote "Going through disasters or tragic incidents brings out the awareness of the need for empathy and understanding." is enough to add this to my shelf. Thank you so much for an explicit review.
