This sounds like an interesting storyline. I am not much of a sci-fi fan, although I have read a few lately, and I am not a fan of time travel. I agree this book could be a movie with your description of it! I can't help but wonder how it all turns out in the end. Thanks for the great review!

Amazing review. I really like science fiction stories plus this one involves some romance in it. I just hope that the romance part does not take most part of the story.

I love reading about time travel - both fiction and non-fiction works. This book has really piqued my interest because of all the elements included in it. And the fact that it's easy to understand is commendable for a time travel story.

Thanks for this amazing review :tiphat:

It is not just that Sci-Fi/Fantasy is not exactly my favorite genre or that I have no interest whatsoever in anything time travel related. Mostly I don't think myself capable to give a fair assessment to book when it is the second part of the series and I am totally unfamiliar with first. Sorry, I will skip it, but congrats with BOTD anyway!

The universes have indeed quite unusual names, but the story line in general sounds exciting.

This review is really intriguing and makes one want to read the book which has all stuffs required for a full fledged block buster movie. Science, technology, sex, women power whatever you ask for ,its already there.

It seems like this is a Time travel story, the second in the series, that is aimed at the adult market, particularly those that enjoy Time travel books with a romantic twist. The relationship between Marshall and Marta seems complex. Though it does appear interesting in some ways, there are aspects of the story that do not appeal to me. Thank you for the nicely written review.

I'm not a big fan of time travel escapades, but for those who enjoy a romp in the past, I think this book seems like a doozy! The writing is crisp and captivating, and the story kicks off with a rush. Although I'll be passing on it, I wish Mr. Murphey good fortune in finding an appreciative audience for his book.

An entertaining science fiction book "Wasting Time" by Mike Murphey, which is based on the theme of time travel.
Rules do apply in the story for time travel to avoid complications. The book looks interesting.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

The author simplified things in a way that allowed the story to flow beautifully. A reader may need to read a sentence concerning time travel twice, not because of technicalities, but to relive the vivid visual images the author’s words spark. The female characters that Mike Murphey created were very empowering. Many researchers and time travelers were fierce women that contributed immensely to the research. There were women leaders and senators. I loved that the women were able to own their sexuality.
Thank God! I usually shy away from time-travel novels because I hate deciphering the physics behind them. Science is not my thing. I'm glad this book doesn't go into technicalities. And I love a strong female character!
This is one of the best reviews I've read lately. Thank you!

I might have underestimated the content of the book, based on the title. Sounds like an intriguing read! Wonderful review.
