What really is respect? At what point do we cross from respect into disrespect? Do we respect ourselves and the people we relate with? The idea behind this book is absolutely refreshing. Cheers !!!

I am glad that the author tackled this issue in her book, as it often tends to generate conflicts and stress in a relationship. Thank you for the insightful review.

I love this book already. Respect is one ingredient we desire as human. And you get what you give, that is respect is reciprocal. I love how the author explained with the relationship between her mother and her. I will love to read this book. Nice review.

I admire the fact that the review gives a dimensional view from both the recipient and the giver. Understanding much about respect as not having to put up with other people's mistakes and being able to maintain healthy relationships is the way to go. You would definitely agree that we have all been victims of being disrespected and also not respecting others. It's definitely a go-to sign to reading Dr. Monica's book and enrich yourself on how to serve and be served the right amount of respect.

Here is another neglected value in our society: Respect. Thus, our world is already paying for it. I need to read this book.

First of all, I love the cover. We need this book today. With all the hate and discriminations to the blacks, Asians, elders, youth and so on, we definitely need this refresher as to how we should consider and respond to one another. This is so awesome. Thank you.

This is a great start for the next generation, but this book was looking through the eyes of someone like me. I am 60 years old. I was taught to not speak until I was ask a question. Being raised as a army brat was also a learning of respect for my father and the soldiers who helped keep our country safe. I look at this as wonderful information.

Respect is so hard to define, but we all want it and should both give it and receive it in healthy relationships. The problem is knowing how to do that when we can’t really pin down the concept in communications. This book sounds like it could help with that, at least for parents and teenagers. Thank you for the helpful review.

Respect is an important aspect in our lives. However, I think a lot of parents view respect as a one-way street. Children have to respect their parents but they aren't given the same by the adults. Thank you for the review.

This is quite an amazing book very vital to be read by everyone. I mean, to respect and to be respected is something ingrained in humans and knowing how to do this right is even more important.
