I absolutely love the idea of many worldlines existing simultaneously. Based on the reviews, I think that the author did a great job on the execution of his idea.

This was the first book I read from this book club and it surely set the expectations high. I love how Adam gave the second chance illusion even if it can only happen on a different worldline. Great review. Keep it up!

Gary commits murder whilst lucid dreaming. At first, Gary thinks that this is a harmless dream, but then his girlfriend’s mother, Mary, who is suffering from dementia claims to have seen him committing this heinous crime. So what if his dream was not a dream after all? What if he has indeed killed someone, just not in the worldline that he is living in? What if another version of him is rotting in jail for a crime he did not commit? Gary seeks the help of a physics professor to try and figure out a plausible explanation. Is there any explanation at all and can it be proven? This is the story of Worldlines written by Adam Guest.

Adam bases his story on the multiverse theory. In this case, one instance of Gary in another worldline takes control of another instance of himself who is in a different worldline and unintentionally commits a crime that the other instance of Gary will now have to pay for. The author did a good job of making it clear which Gary was narrating at any point in time. All the different Garys narrate in the first person, so the reader is privy to their thoughts.

This story is for SY/FY lovers and reminds me of the Flash tv show where there are multiple earths and the same people live in these alternative planets. I struggle with this type of story since I read for relaxation and this story made me think too hard about who was who and what was really happening. The official review was excellent.

I like the book's premise, the idea of parallel worlds, and the fact it is a science fiction with a twist of fantasy. I've added it to my “want to read” list, and I am looking forward to reading it. Thank you for the thorough review!

The author emphasized that life and the world itself is as redundant as the globe rotates no matter how you wish to disrupt it with some flight of ideas or imaganinations. It still boils down to one truth. Death is inevitable and crime does not pay. It haunted his soul through some struggles with denial and remorse.
This book is recommended for those who love sci-fi, particularly psychology.

I am not into sci-fi stories much, but, I find this story interesting where the lead character is living different lives in parallel worlds, this world and the world of the dreams, and has committed a heinous crime in the dream-world that maybe tangible. Thank you for the review!
