I like that this book is a combination of self-discovery and science fiction to create a unique work of art that can be enjoyed by many people. I also like that both characters are very relatable especially Dalan who goes through a wide range of emotions following his traumatic life event. I believe that most if not everyone can empathize or at least sympathize with Dalan considering the past year that we all have had.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting novel about a man who after experiencing a major trauma and loses hope, decides to travel on his friend's spaceship to a planet where miserable people are desperate to survive. After spending a few days on this planet, the protagonist experiences a change in how he perceives himself. It might be worth a second look. Well done.
