I am a firm believer in "meant to be" and people coming into your life for "a time and a season." I felt a connection with this author with just the introduction. I'm happy to add it to my book shelf!

Thank you for your review! I like that the author has shared the stories of various people in this book! However, I typically don't like devotionals and books and stuff that just pull out a single verse to go with a story and some questions. I can see this being used as a basis for a "Bible study" where the participants wouldn't actually study the bible or work together to discover and decipher the context. I probably won't read it since I don't read much non-fiction on my own and wouldn't be happy to do a book study on it, but I'm happy it was enlightening for you.

For the spiritual reader looking for many different stories that are both educational and thought-provoking, it sounds like this book focused on spirnancial principles would be an excellent one.

The book is short but powerful in its message. It certainly will cause you to pause and reflect on your own journey in life. Thanks for a great review.

I always stayed away from spiritual books. I may pick it up sometime later in my life. I would like to be that person with faith and find myself. Congrats on BOTD!

I've heard this a lot growing up and now that I'm older, although it has its points, I kind of disagree. For anyone who wants to read it though, I guess it could offer you a different perspective.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting self-help book about living life to the fullest. While there is a Christian theme to the book, it might be worth a second look. Well done.

My condolences to the author. I admire that they were able to take a tragic situation and make something good out of it.

Whilst I agree that there's something to learn from every situation, I have to disagree that anything that happens in my life is according to the divine order. Some of the things that happen are consequences of our actions. Thanks for the review.
