I enjoy a sci-fi book like this and with the fact that the characters are well developed, I look forward to reading it. Also, I admire Lilla, who was not satisfied with the norms but wanted something advantageous for her planet. Nice review.

This seems to be an interesting and thrilling science fiction and fantasy novel. With the added romance bit, makes the story sound more unique and exciting to read. I will check the book. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

I like stories where the protagonist has a strong conscience and a sturdy moral compass, such as in Lilla's case. To go against your own family for the sake of the people is a noble and difficult act. This sounds like a good story to occupy my idle moments, and I mean that in a good way.

I'm not surprised about the love triangle between Lilla, Callum, and Arrov. It sounds like a nice subplot; I'd like to see how it plays out.

I love that this story addresses such issues as the treatment of refugees and those who are different from you. Science fantasy and other speculative fiction genres have a lot of potential for exploring these kinds of topics by putting them in new contexts to make them easier for readers to absorb and analyze. It’s one of the reasons I love speculative fiction and all the genres it encompasses. Thank you for the helpful review.

A science fiction novel with a moral lesson (the need for not looking down upon the less fortunate and those different from us) sounds like an insightful read. I am a science fiction fan, and therefore, looking for to reading this. Excellent review!

Based on the sample I read, very interesting so far. Touches of magic, space travel, space ships, royalty and spies. A good fantasy book to pass the time.

First book in the series seems to be quiet interesting. Let us see how it continues further. The story so far is mimicking a computer game. Hope more twists are on the anvil.
