This book focuses on the early 1900s in the US as well as in Cuba. As such, the reader also gets history lessons. The language is very descriptive and engaging which draws the reader into the novel. There is also some romance in the novel. The reader will see Matt fall slowly but surely for Olga, one of the female protagonists in the novel.
I will recommend this book for anyone who loves books that focus on historical accounts of past events as well as those who love romance plots.
