A story of a police officer and a civilian, wow sounds great, then there is mistaken identity in it, wow this is a must read for me. Gary must have really written a great book. Thanks for sharing I have to read this entertaining novel.

This crime drama has corrupt cops, Black Lives Matter, and gang violence. I like that the author tries to portray all sides of the issue. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for your excellent review.

This is an important book to bring further awareness to the corruption within the criminal justice system. I like that the story revolves around several characters who share their unique perspectives. It sounds like the book is written well, and the character development is on point. Thank you for your review. The cover caught my eye but your review caught my attention. This book seems timely and relevant. An officer is more than a badge and a criminal is more than a crime. And then there is corruption! Congratulations on BOTD!

I've actually read this book earlier this year and I have to say that I was a bit nervous when I start reading it, but this book is a must read! I highly recommend it.

I love the idea of a dual perspective book that encompasses two opposing sides: cop vs. inmate. In today's world with all the social injustices, specifically revolving around Black Lives Matter, a story like this allows for both sides of the story. Books like this play an important role in sharing ideas pertaining to injustices and moral conflict. Great review!

A crime thriller about a police officer and a civilian in a prison. A case of mistaken identity triggers dire consequences. In addition to exploring subjects on the lives of police officers, it addresses the issue of corruption within the institution. An interesting option.

This interesting book addresses current issues. As well as BLM, the story looks into how people feel like they have no choice but to commit crimes and how insidious corruption in the police is. Thanks for a great review.

I'm not a fan of the genre, although I have to admit that it does sound intriguing to go deeper into the lives of criminals and police officers. Will have to check it for myself.

I like characters who have a gray shade to their personalities because they are similar to people we encounter in real life. This novel is appealing to me because it doesn't take sides and tells the truth as it is.
