I don't usually read children's book; I'm far from that age. But sounds like the movie Baby's day out—except it's a cat. And I'm glad to know that the book was exceptionally edited. The young ones deserve it. That was a great review. You've paid a lot of attention to the things that matter the most. Great job!

It's a lovely book. I sampled a few pages and found the illustrations vivid and lively. I think it will make a great book for kids. The picture of Shadow looking at the birds was so cute. Thank you for an insightful review!

As an animal lover, I couldn't be more intrigued by a story about a cat's adventure. I'm pretty sure children are going to love this book, especially if it has pictures to go with the story. Thanks for the great review!

Although I'm not a cat lover or a children's book lover, i have to admit that this book has lot of focus on core emotions in people. Emotion of love, lost, confusion, fear and reunion. I find that the most attractive part of this book. Congrats on being best book of the day.

I'm not a cat person, but the illustrations in this book are beautiful! The pastel colors are absolutely inviting to the eye. If I had any little ones around these days, I would certainly consider a nice hardbound copy of this book for their bedroom shelf. Congratulations on receiving BOTD honors!

Shadow seems to be a happy and adventurous cat. The colorfully drawn pictures definitely enhance the story and help in capturing a child's attention. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I'm sure kids will easily relate to Shadow and will breathlessly wait to see if he ever finds his family again. The fact that the book is error-free is also a great bonus. Thanks for your review!

This sounds like a really cute story for kids! I had a cat who left home and I hadn’t seen him for years, but apparently he’d found a new home because when I saw him again he’d gotten quite obese!

What a cute story for children. I like how the reader sees Shadow’s point of view when he's lost. I hope he makes it back to his family. I also appreciate how this children’s book is based on the true story of the author’s own cat who went missing for two years. Thank you for your well-written review.

My little ones and I would be anxious if our pup went missing even for a few minutes. This children’s book is based on the true story of the author’s own cat who went missing for two years. I'm glad the drawings are great and the vocabulary simple because I'd love to get the book. Thank you for a wonderful review.
