This sounds like a great book to share with my niece and nephews. Though we are dog people and this is about a cat, the story would resonate with any animal lover. Thanks for the review.

I do hope Shadow makes it home ok. Two years is not too bad when compared to the nine lives he has to find his way back. :cat: Thank you for your recommendation.

Not only I am all grown up to read children"s books, but I am also dog person and additionally allergic to cats. No offense, but I will have to pass this book, no matter how great reviewer makes it sound. Most sincere congrats on BOTD!

This book sounds like a cute and fun story to read. My daughter is older than the target age group, but I think that she'd still enjoy reading this book since she's an avid cat lover. Thanks for the interesting review.

I think Shadow did not understand how important his family is to him and how sad it could be to be separated from them but he will know it by chasing the birds and I really hope he will find his family. and that he will do everything to never leave her. Besides, I think in the illustration, Shadow is really too cute and I really wanted to hug him. But I think too many characters in this kind of story could be a bit boring however it's very well written.

Shadow is a cat who loves his human family. He also loves watching birds from the windows. Then, he and his family move to a house out in the country with bigger windows! One day, one of his humans leaves the door open, and Shadow knows this is his chance to finally catch those birds he has been staring at for so long. Shadow pounces, runs, and climbs. When Shadow is finally ready to head back home, he’s come so far that he doesn’t know which way home is. Will Shadow ever find his family again?

The book seems to be very educational giving an insight into a cat's life. It's really sad that Shadow got lost but I'm sure he will find its way home. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I am very much a cat person, and I was touched by this story inspired by a cat that went missing for two years! I enjoyed the way the narrative is tailored for young readers and think this would make an excellent gift for children. Many thanks for a concise and informative review.

Shadow's Adventure Home ~ is a Children's Book about a cat name Shadow., who loves his human family. He loves watching the birds from the windows. Shadow moved into a bigger house.

The door open and Shadow made a dash or the outside to hunt the birds, without discovering Shadow went too far and couldn't find his way back. Based on a true story by the Author. Recommended to kindergarteners. Very engaging. Exceptionally edited.

The author did a great job bringing shadow to life, i could feel the love the family had for shadow and the sadness that was felt when shadow went missing. I do hope the story has a happy ending

Shadow's adventure is an interesting story that I believe sheds light on the need to stay away from chasing shadows. Great review!

Shadow was probably so happy to be home after two years of adventure. This children's book sounds like a great one for children and adults to relate to as it is well-written with beautiful pencil drawings. Great review!
