From a sampling, this seems like an interesting children's story about a cat that after moving to a new house manages to get outside and explore the neighborhood. The only problem is that he does not know the way back. Will he get back to his family? It might be worth a second look, especially for parents with young children. Well done.

This sounds like a great children's book, after all, it's been quite a while since I've come across such a flawless book. I would love to read this to my cousins.

This delightful children's book is about Shadow, a cat who wants to chase birds. The illustrations are so cute. I think children will love this story. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for your excellent review. Good job!

I like how the vocabulary is very simple, My son loved this story and was able to understand and relate with whats happening in the story. The end story was a nice touch as well.

Stories like this always make me sad about my own pet losing his way home, but it’s such a cute story for children. It’s made all the better knowing it’s based on a true story. Thanks for the great review

The story of Shadow—the cat—will definitely be enjoyable to many young children. I love it that the book is colorfully done and well edited. However, I'm not a fan of children's books. Otherwise, congrats on the BOTD!

Shadow is a cat who loves his human family. He also loves watching birds from the windows. Then, he and his family move to a house out in the country with bigger windows! One day, one of his humans leaves the door open, and Shadow knows this is his chance to finally catch those birds he has been staring at for so long. Shadow pounces, runs, and climbs. When Shadow is finally ready to head back home, he’s come so far that he doesn’t know which way home is. Will Shadow ever find his family again?

Shadow’s Adventure Home is written by Kathy Kovar and illustrated by Mardel Rubio. This children’s book is based on the true story of the author’s own cat who went missing for two years. The story is told from Shadow’s perspective in the third-person point of view.

A children's book about Shadow the cat written from his perspective. Shadow watches birds through the window and one day gets outside through an open door and goes after the birds. He went so far from home that he does not know how to get back. One has to read the book to find out how Shadow finds his way home. Good official review.

A lost cat is an interesting colorful #BOTD for young readers. I remember when my parents divorced, my dad took the cats with him. One of them went missing. 2 weeks later she had made it back to our house across town. Great review.

Though the lost pet is a story that's been done numerous times, it sounds like this is a fresh take, probably due to the real-life influence. The drawings also sound adorable. Thanks for your review!

As an English teacher in Vietnam I find it such a lovely book to read aloud in my class. I have read my students several books so far and Shadow's Adventure Home by Kathy Kovar seems to be a great back-to-school reading time for my students, especially after a long tumultuous quarantine.
Thank you for your lovely review!

This is genuine story of what family is about including our pet, and this type of book that we need to read for our children before bed time. Last but not least I really hope that shadow’s can find a way home to his human family.

This shows the love between a human and a cat. Also, it depicts the inner desire of cats to catch the birds and its desire to eat them. It's an awesome children's story to read and have a moral in it

I love that the story is relatable to children and realistic, while pointing out lessons to children. This is a book that I believe the targeted audience will love. Nice review.
