It seems intense but somehow taught us a lot about situations during war...
One may die one may not.. but yes we can have different types of relations with one another even if in such situation like war

It seems like a book I might enjoy. I like that the novel is fiction, but also based on a true story. I find historical fiction around this time period to be interesting.

It looks to be a historical fiction that is sure to turn our stomach due to the grotesque acts done on others in the midst of war.

It's necessary to be taken aback for a while to the history because we all should know how our ancestors gave their life to make everything better.
Reading this review I feel heartbroken and can't even imagine the life in camps like that.
Well written :techie-studyingbrown:

I haven't read and don't really read historical fiction books. There are a select few historical fiction books that I have read (and own). This one is definitely on my reading list. Just the preview of the first few pages I did already have me enticed. I cannot wait to read this book. I also don't know a lot about WWII that isn't in school history books. So this is a great added perspective for me.

This is an inspirational historical fiction novel higlighting World War II, Poland, Nazi slave labor operations, bravery, and courage. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has an inciteful OnlineBookClub review. Congrats @CatherineAHamil on the BOTD selection.

A story about the atrocities committed in World War II against Polish women. The characters of Victoria and Etta are striking for their bravery. They defy German law and put themselves in danger to help others. This topic is always interesting but it is also a bit sad. It is a good option for those who like to read about WWII.

This definitely sounds like an emotional read; it would be good to learn more about the captured Polish women during WWII. It also seems well written and quite decently edited. Thanks for the review.

What a touching story, which is based on facts. It's extremely saddening to realise that all the atrocities mentioned in the book actually happened to countless women during WW2. A brilliant story of courage, and relentless tenacity to survive and live. Excellent review!

Intriguing plot. I'd love to find out how Victoria navigated through the ill-treatment meted out to her. Great review.

I admit, I've never been very strong in history, but I do find it very important for the reason you state. I noticed that the writing was charismatic as I read the sample, so I'm sure that helps readers through the tough scenes. Thanks for writing this review.
