"If you feel rushed and unheard, then find another PCP." This should be obvious but many don't really think of it. If your primary care physician seems to only want to attend to your issue mechanically and get you out of the way, you're with the wrong physician. A good healthcare practitioner needs to genuinely care about the patient holistically. This is great advise from an undoubtedly great book. Congrats on BOTD.

Regis takes us on her journey of discovering down to treating her skin cancer. She provides the reader with substantial information especially those who know nothing about medics like me on how to prepare financially for tragic situations like diagnosis of deadly illnesses. I appreciate her work and enjoyed reading the review.

I've never known anything about medical care or anything that's happening in the hospital or medicine field. So I would be very happy to read this. So informative and well-done. Thanks a lot.

Good health is the core of any human and ignorance and misinformation are dangerous. I appreciate that the author aims to empower her readers to make informed health care decisions.

This will be so useful considering the current scenario. I appreciate the author for sharing the wealth of information about healthcare and how to navigate it better. The information about insurance and hospital admissions is surely something to look out for while reading the book. Thank you for the review.

This seems to be a wonderful and concise guide by the author who has first-hand seen the intricacies of the healthcare system; this would provide important information for the general public. Thank you for the review!

Surviving The Business of Healthcare. After seeing all the reviews and reading the book I found it to be very helpful and honest. Most of my family members past away due to cancer. The different types of health care issues she brought up was things I had no clue about. A must read book.

This book is very educational, also in the book the author wrote about her own experience both the health care system. At fist the book seems like boring to me but as I read I notice that I don't know a lot of about health care system. It is very useful and interesting book.
