A nicely written heartwarming and heartbreaking novel "Remembering Hope" by Parastoo Rezai, which follows Bahar and Omid, who wished to live a long and fulfilled life together. Sadly, Omid had very short life, leaving Bahar in lot of despair. The book looks very much captivating to me.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

I feel it is packed with heavy emotions. Life seems to be perfect when it starts turning into a reality you never knew. Thank you for a great review! Hope in despair and it's a blade of grass that you cling on when there's nothing else.

This isn't the type of book that I enjoy, so I won't be adding it to my to-be-read list. However, the few snippets describing daily life in Iran that I read in the first several pages were a nice change to the negative images that are usually broadcast by U.S. media. Congratulations to the author on achieving BOTD.

It takes strength, resilience, and hope to navigate such emotional turmoil as Bahar did. When family members and /or friends are in it with you, it helps somewhat. Persons struggling with grief can learn something from this book. Thanks for a beautiful review.

This romantic literature sounds hauntingly beautiful. No matter what life deals us in tragedy, heartbreak, and despair, we must remain hopeful which is sometimes easier said than done. I also like that Iranian culture is included and written in this book. Great review!

A sudden brain cancer diagnosis would fracture many lives and future plans. It sounds like this author did an effective job telling this story about grief and healing in a believable way. When it comes to terminal diagnoses, love can’t always conquer all. Thank you for your review.

Thanks for writing this review. The plot seems very realistic, so it's great that the author developed the characters and wrote the emotions in believable ways to keep readers immersed. I hope a lot of people read this just so more people experience a down to earth story about a Middle Eastern woman making it through life.

Personally, I am not a huge fan of romantic genre, but even I can see why this book has earned such great reviews. It is all in the balance. Happiness and sadness, love and sorrow, no one is able to know the true value of one without experiencing the other. My sincere congratulations on BOTD!

I only read the smaple as provided by OBC in it's BOTD, but I liked the manner in which the narration timeliness was set up in these first few chapters, and warmth of the tone. Some of the set up and descriptions made it seem as if it would primarily be more romance focused, but your review relates a different impression of the genre and story. Would you class this as more domestic drama or light romance? If it were romance, it would be the kind I'd try out. Is the protagonists POV, story, and narration suitable for inspiring a broader audience, including men in learning sensitivity and to be more (emotionally) supportive of women, or do you think this is more geared to mostly inspiring women, as you mention in your recommendations? This could be a selection to review I might enjoy or choose, but I don't really read ebooks, and so would be unlikely to purchase it outright (even discounted). This looks like something I'd be happy discovering by chance at a used bookstore or resale shop as a physical copy, and it might even serve as a suitable audiobook for me; but still not the sort of genre I'd seek out on Amazon for purchase, even if I think I might benefit from reading it. I enjoyed the brief depiction of London, and so wished the sample would have included the authors same depictions of flashbacks in Iran early on, too.

This reminds me of the Hallmark series Saving Hope that played in the 90s. The trials and tribulations that are overcome sound realistic and emotional. Grear review!.
