I agree it is a necessity, but it is also something that not everyone can afford. And, even though most people would say necessity, there are people who simply will not get healthcare, no matter what is going on in their life. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.Goodness C N wrote: ↑14 Jun 2021, 13:15 Clearly, it is a necessity. Because in whatever way we want to shy away from the truth. At some point in our life, we must seek medical attention. Just like death, it is inevitable.

I agree with you. We do all need healthcare, but not everyone can afford it. Some people tend to think it is a choice, but it is needed for everyone. I also agree that we have learned a lot of lessons from the pandemic. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.Katherine Smith wrote: ↑15 Jun 2021, 16:19 I agree with the author because we will all need to use healthcare services at some point in our lives. Most of us will see that need increase as we get into our sixties and develop issues related to the aging process. I also think that those who are born with illnesses or develop health issues as they grow up need medical care at a greater rate than others. Ad this pandemic has all shown us, we should not take our health for granted or the health care systems that we have in our communities.

I agree, but just going with the examples that you listed, not everyone chooses to get the vaccines, so in that way, it is a choice. I think it is a necessary thing and not one to be taken for granted. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.Chizioboli wrote: ↑15 Jun 2021, 20:29 I totally agree with this statement. Right from when everyone was born, we had one or two healthcare services delivered to us. Without those for example cutting off the umblical cord, our existence would be highly threatened. This is one example. Another is taking vaccinations. These are some of the very necessary healthcare services we should be have irrespective of societal status. This, the author was right to affirm that healthcare is not a choice but a necessity

I agree that is a necessity. It is also one that not everyone chooses. In the post above this one, the example was used that healthcare is needed for vaccines, but not everyone chooses to get vaccines, so in some ways, it is a choice as well. Even for things (like vaccines) that most people would say are necessary. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.Mimi Kenneth wrote: ↑16 Jun 2021, 02:14 I agree because illness is a common fact of life. Everyone is liable to get sick at one point in life, most times it's not even planned so, medical care and insurance is definitely a necessity.

I believe it is a necessity as well, even though there are those that would disagree. It is something that not everyone takes advantage of, or can even afford. We all have a choice as to when or if we will get healthcare. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.Saloni Amin wrote: ↑16 Jun 2021, 05:30 Healthcare is not a choice as we never know when we might get extremely sick or need assistance from a doctor. Home remedies are temporary solution and might not help us to get cured. So I feel healthcare is a necessity.
