This is sad story about racism existing everywhere in the world. It is should be prohibited by all human beings in our social life. Thanks for review.

America! Powerful as she is, she can't resist the pool of mad that is racism for a second, now, can she? Sometimes I wonder why she has that much power. It's a shame that those who exalt her have to cry generation after generation under the weight of racial prejudice. Anyway, congrats to Marjorie for the BOTD and thanks to the reviewer for such an informative piece.

I don't normally read such books, but this one captured my attention. I appreciate the concisiveness of the review. I will definitely take this book up.

Being a person of color is not the problem. The problem lies when a certain individual thinks too highly of himself that he/she tends to belittle the people around him/her. Racism goes beyond color. Great review. I felt your passion regarding the topic. Keep it up!

From the title alone, I knew that I was going to read this book. I loved that it was informative about racism and slavery. I wonder what was controversial about Trump. I can't wait to read it.

I’d like to start by saying I really like the title of this book even though it’s a bit derivative.
Slavery is one topic that we must continue to talk about until we are certain that it’s been uprooted completely from modern day society

Racism is still prevalent today. This book seems to have great insights. Congrats on BOTD!

The title of the book is catchy and makes me want to find out about what happened to that woman. The non fiction is a good one for those who value history and also politics and that is not a book am looking forward to read.

As long as it talks about the history of America and its current political state, I'm interested. Great book.

I studied American literature at University, and the main topic of discussion was "American deep-rooted racism and the role of women". I've read a lot of interesting books that presented parallelisms between the "old" America and the "new" America, and it's sad to see how black people are still being treated. I'd love to read this book just to add some notions to what I studied at school.

Marjorie's book was indeed beautifully crafted. Best believe, I can attest to that. With well woven narratives about slavery and racism in the U.S, the biography of some activists at that time, including Harriet Tubman, and of course, Martin Luther. It was an enjoyable read which interested readers will find worthy of their time.
