Review of Love, Grandma
A family is not just about the father, mother, and children. Grandparents are important when it comes to a child's upbringing. Nowadays, children believe their lives revolve around their parents, but that is not so. Grandparents must be involved in the lives of their grandchildren to foster more love and growth. Love, Grandma by Ann Morris is a simple yet moral dense children's book. It uses pictures to teach children how a good grandmother-to-grandchildren relationship can positively improve upbringing. Based on the author's experience as a grandmother, this book shows that exciting memories await children who spend time with their grandparents.
I liked this book primarily because of the values it teaches. The author is a grandmother, and she understands the importance of encouraging grandparent relationships. Children can learn how to love better when they experience it from another relative, their grandparent. This book effortlessly teaches that love does not begin and end solely on the parents. The earlier children realized this, the readier these little ones would be for society.
Also, I liked the neat and educative pictures used in creating this masterpiece. One easily remembers what was seen more than what is read. Each storyline was well depicted with quality design. This way, every child that reads this book would have the graphic imprinted on their memory. In turn, the child will readily practice what was learned. I also loved the author's choice of rhymes where text was used. It would make for an excellent sing-along when grandmothers read with their grandchildren.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. It was well-edited, and there were no grammatical errors. Also, the good use of rhymes and captivating illustrations made this book unique. Every child, who reads this book, would be truly entertained.
I would highly recommend this book to kids aged five to eight years. The grammar is suitable for this age bracket. Also, parents of kids aged four to nine should read this book. This is to enable them to understand and encourage grandparent grandchildren's relationship.

Thank you for your compliment.Amanda Dobson wrote: ↑22 Jun 2021, 13:19 I love how you did this review. It was beautifully written. This is a book I would add to my daycare library collection. I love how this book focuses on the relationship that children need to have with their grandparents. It brings me back to my own memories with my grandmother and puts a smile on my face.
