This is a very good book to be written for children. Teaching them early enough to appreciate and take care of mother earth will go a long way to curb issues on environmental pollution. It will also make them appreciate agriculture as a way of life.

Your review says it all! What appealed to me the most was the kindness portrayed in the book. Being kind to others without expecting anything in return is a great virtue. It becomes even greater when that kindness is returned in times of need! I love this book. :techie-studyingbrown:

:shhh: I can picture children running towards the nearest soil after reading this book😆. It's something I would have done. I love the black and white book cover, and I love the content because I believe Farming should be taught and learned at an early age.

The idea of children getting to learn some of the fundamental principles of farming and gardening is very interesting. With that, they would get to learn to be productive with their environment.

This reminds us of the basic reality of life, that caring for ourselves only isn't enough to make the world blossom. It is a give and take process. This is also showed by the author, giving us a story that teaches fundamental moral codes that can help a child have a sense of how to navigate the world.

It's one thing to make a children's book that teaches about something so important: farming and gardening. But it's another step higher to make the book interactive. This way the author and guardians of the kids are sure they are following along. This is a nice idea, and I think more children's books should be written about some other important issues, using this format.

The simplicity of the language used, choice of words, and illustrations are just a few of the many things to like about children's books. This one is no exception. I agree with the review, there's nothing to dislike about this book.

he Greater Understanding by Nanna Pete is a children's book. The story begins on a farm, and the reader becomes acquainted with the farmer and his wife. The farmer's daily chores, seasonal farm work, and lifestyle are showcased throughout the story. Readers learn about planting, giving back to the earth, and respecting our surroundings. Is there more to learn? You'll have to read this book to find out!

I love the originality reflected in the writing style of this author. The opening line containing the words, "...out in the middle of somewhere you may have heard of..." is a beautiful way to illustrate how important the location is to this story.

This book has such a wonderful springtime vibe. I think that is due in part to its tree-planting and gardening illustrations. The creativity of outdoor projects like growing things is one of the most widely-enjoyed activities. What I loved best about this book was how the reader walks away from it with a lighter attitude and a feeling of well-being.

A good children's book that teaches the reader about farming, tree-planting and gardening. Good official review.
