Maybe it's just me but the author's message is contradictory. She doesn't believe in hard work, yet her story seems like a testament to the transformative power of hard work.

It's hard to thrive when it appears no one believes in you, and it's worse when you do not believe in yourself. Books like these would more than being motivational, serve to build readers on the aspects of service to others and the importance of belief in one's self. Thanks for a well written review

Thanks for the review. It seems there is nothing distinct with the ideas presented in the book. I was hoping that anything special will be mentioned or be hinted at.

'Official Review: Magic Blue Rocks' by April Shprintz is appropriate feedback on the contents of the book for readers! It mentions the relevant points of the book about attaining our goals in life! The point that the author shares six stories from her life that display her character throughout the book is worth mentioning in the review! I like the advice offered for potential readers in the review! Nice to learn that the stories are honest, humorous, and humble!

These types of books rarely arouse my interest. However, the review did get me curious as to the author's stories. I may have to check it out.

I've just read a couple of chapters in this book so far, but it is an enjoyable read. There is no feeling sorry for herself, it is all about encouragement and belief. I think we all need at least one Sue Harper in our lives. I'm looking forward to reading the chapter "Gettin' Out of Dodge" that you mentioned. My son has big dreams also, and I try very hard to encourage those and let him know he can do whatever he wants. Different meanings of success is hard for many of us to learn. Thank you for such an exciting review.
