The review is extremely helpful to know about the book in deep. The story seems to be extraordinary since it focuses on how one person has no facilities but yet keeps the goal to achieve and chase it.

In any venture—business or otherwise—that serves others to any degree, I agree with the author that having belief in ourselves and in others is the key to success. This doesn't mean that working hard and smart and having drive and determination are bad things. It would be interesting to read how the author fleshes out her assertion.

“Work smarter, not harder.” No doubt, you have heard that mantra. Entrepreneur and author April Shprintz claims that working neither harder nor smarter builds success. Creator of The Generosity Culture, Shprintz believes in attaining goals by investing in people and acknowledging their unique abilities.

In Magic Blue Rocks: The Secret to Doing Anything, April Shprintz shares six stories from her life that demonstrate the incredible power of believing in yourself and the indomitable power of having someone else believe in you. These engaging snapshots of the author’s life begin with her first business venture at age six: the wildly successful but short-lived purveying of the titular magic blue rocks.

Growing up, Shprintz lacked both money and a supportive home environment, but she knew her life would not always be one of lack. In these narratives, the author reveals the skills she has honed to achieve goals in her childhood pursuits, her military career, and the business world. The magic factor is not drive or determination, although the author has an abundant amount of those traits. The key is believing in oneself and in others. The stories are honest, humorous, and humble, and at the end of each chapter, Shprintz shares her advice based on the lessons she learned.

A book about the incredible power of believing in yourself and the indomitable power of having someone else believe in you. Six stories from April Shprintz life that demonstrates this power. Very good official review.

I am going to pass on this one as I do not enjoy reading non-fiction books which are not story-based. Thanks for the great review!

Sounds helpful and inspiring. We should believe in ourselves and others to achieve everything we want. We are capable and powerful no matter what.

Believing in one's self is an attribute people should strive to get. It is a driving force to success. Awesome review and congrats on being the book of the day.

I definitely believe that helping others and believing in others can help more with one’s own success than people typically believe. I also know that believing in one’s self is important, but I severely lack in that area. Hopefully, this book can help with that area. Thank you for the helpful review.

I believe the author's secrets behind her success story will motivate the readers. However, self-help books are not my forte. Hence, I will pass this one. Thanks for the engaging review though!

The #BOTD encompasses believe in yourself motivation. In the military they teach the skill that the fight is already lost if you go in without the confidence that you are going to win. This is something that I have learned in life and the author's book reinforces this. Good review.

After not making the cut for a job she auditioned for, April Shprintz accepts to help someone who was anxious about the audition process to get ready for it. So essentially, she agreed to help someone else get the job she wanted for herself. I guess the author really is serious when she asserts that success comes when you believe in yourself and in others. Congrats on BOTD.
